The word “Yoni” comes from Sanskrit and refers in a broad sense to the vulva and vagina. The Yoni egg itself is a gemstone inserted into the vagina to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles in women.
Why strengthen the pelvic floor muscles?
The Yoni egg is inserted into the vagina and worn for a period of time. The vaginal and pelvic floor muscles then contract around the egg, which causes alternating contraction and relaxation of this muscular part. It's important to be on the move while wearing - for example, you can use it while showering or tidying up. Beginners can start with 15 minutes a day.
After a few weeks you will already feel the effects of the training. You will be able to better control the strengthened muscles. What size should I use?
In Yoni practice, start with the largest Yoni egg first, as your pelvic floor muscles are not yet strong enough to hold smaller Yoni eggs. So start with the big egg to get your muscles used to it. Experienced people can opt for a smaller egg in size M or S.
How to remove the Yoni egg?
To remove the Yoni egg after training, simply squat down and push it towards the vaginal opening using muscle strength, until you can grip and remove it with your fingers.
